Mike Grasof, Director of Children’s Christian Education, oversees the Sunday School
program at Good Shepherd. Her commitment to the Church combined with her love of
children made her a perfect fit to lead this important ministry.
Mike comes to Good Shepherd from St. Augustine, FL where he, his wife Teresa and their
children Ansley (10), Kendall (7) and Jack (3), attended Trinity Episcopal Church. By trade,
Mike was a fisherman who owned and operated a charter fishing company. In 2009, Teresa
‘s employer notified them they would need to move to the Tequesta area. Mike sold his
company; they made the move, settled in and began searching for a church home.
As a cradle Episcopalian, he brings an inherent understanding of Episcopal tradition to our
young children. While still in the planning stages, Mike‘s overall philosophy for Sunday
School is one of balance: New Testament lessons built on a solid foundation of Old
Testament to include some of our current Godly Play curriculum and the lectionary as well.
Oh, and plenty of fun!
